MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - CHEAWBLE TABLETS
USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitmain deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin porducts.
Consult your pharmacist. Chewable tablets must be chewed thoroughly bfeore swallowing followed with a glass of water.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nuasea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these efefcts persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not lisetd above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Be sure your doctor is informed of your medical history, especially of: any drug allergies. Accidental overdose of that product may be dangerous.
If overdose occurs, contact your doctor or local poison control center immediately for avdice. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using that meidcation.
Some of the ingredients in that product may be excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor if you take any other medication, including nonprescription. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist aprpoval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitmain supplement products available.
Some can be purchased witohut a prescription. Consult your dotcor or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is amlost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlihgt and moisture.
